It is quite possible that she simply died due to the invasion. Marth is the protagonist of the very first game in the series (Fire Emblem) and sequel (Fire Emblem: Mistery of the Emblem) along with the remakes while Lucina is one of the 3 protagonists of the former best selling and most popular game in the franchise (Fire Emblem: Awakening). Analysis by UmbraCorvus Lyn - Lady of the Plains Obtainable as a 5 during certain summoning events only. I have only played through approximately three fifths of Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, though I have finished Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword, and Lyndis goes to the Sacae unless she married Hector or Eliwood, and Bern invaded the Sacae. So learning alongside this character most likely caused many players to grow attached to her. When players first booted up FE7, they had no idea what they were getting into. Yeah, you could say that she is still not as popular as Roy (which is debatable but whatever) but she is going to be there in no time thanks to her being so promoted outside her series and Smash. To me, Lyn has always served as the grounding rod for Fire Emblem in general. I guess some people could say that Roy is still most popular than Lucina but remember that:ġ) She was in one of the best selling games in the Smash franchise (and yes, we are counting Smash 3DS because why the f*ck not?)Ģ) Fire Emblem: Awakening is by far the most popular game in the series in a long while and she was well liked in that game because her Godtier status (unlike Roy who can be argued is the absolute worst Lord in the series)ģ) IntSys has been going IN in terms of promoting her as one of the modern faces of the franchise in other games (Codename STEAM, Project x Zone, Fire Emblem: Fates, etc.) and merchandise in general.
